For those traveling from out of town and spending a few extra days here, we’ve gathered a list of some of our favorite things to do in Waco. Whether you’re looking for good food, outdoor adventures, or local charm, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Local Attractions and Landmarks -

  • Magnolia Market & The Silos

    • Explore the iconic Magnolia complex, where charming shops, cozy seating, and food trucks await. It’s the perfect spot to grab a snack, browse home goods, or just relax on the lawn.

  • Downtown & Historic Walks

    • Take a stroll through Waco’s historic downtown, filled with local boutiques, art galleries, and cozy cafés. As you wander, make your way to the famous Suspension Bridge, built in 1870 — one of Waco’s most beloved landmarks. It’s a beautiful spot for photos and offers a peaceful view of the Brazos River and nearby parks. Downtown also hosts live music, art walks, and seasonal events throughout the year, so check what’s happening while you’re in town — there’s almost always something fun to see or hear!

  • Waco Mammoth National Monument
